Universities still struggling with EU’s troubled academic mobility programme, with more challenges expected
Universities have said they are still struggling to implement and find funding for student exchanges that are supposed to be supported by the EU’s Erasmus+ academic mobility programme, months after problems with the programme were first flagged.
Late last year, a group of education institutions reported “enormous challenges related to their participation in the Erasmus+ programme”, stemming from delays in the selection of projects for funding and in the distribution of funding from the programme to institutions.
