Support for student mental health found to vary across Europe

Union surveys show that student mental health rose up the agenda during the pandemic

Support for student mental health from higher education institutions, national student unions, governments and other sources varies across Europe, two surveys have found.

Members of European national student unions surveyed those unions across the continent in the springs of 2020 and 2021, seeking to establish the level of concern about, and support for, student mental health among different actors in higher education at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and a year on.
