European University Association sets out template for facing climate challenges
The European University Association has launched a roadmap outlining measures universities can take to help them and the EU meet their climate change mitigation and environmental sustainability targets.
The EU has put environmental issues at the top of its current political agenda with its European Green Deal policy package, which aims to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, and the EUA roadmap is aligned with that presumed “long-term policy orientation”.
