EUI alliances ‘should diversify their funding sources’

Study suggests alliances should become less dependent on EU and national funding over time

University alliances formed under the EU’s initiative for financing cross-border collaboration should “diversify” their funding sources, according to a study commissioned by the bloc.

Published on 22 March, the study recommends that the European Universities Initiative alliances, which are working on projects including joint courses and campuses, should become less dependent on EU subsidies and national funding over time.
