Plans for ‘excellence initiative’ for European universities offers chance to increase competitiveness, says The Guild
The EU is missing funding for long-term cooperation between research teams, according to the Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities.
The group said that such funding should be the “main focus” of a European Excellence Initiative—a scheme being developed to enhance research and innovation among European universities.
