Liber’s interim executive director Martine Pronk is named as its permanent leader

The Association of European Research Libraries, Liber, has announced that its interim executive director, Martine Pronk, is to become the leader of the organisation on a permanent basis.

Liber, which represents more than 420 national, university and other libraries, and lobbies in favour of policies such as open access to knowledge, said on 5 June that Pronk would take over the coordination and implementation of its strategic actions, management and advocacy.
