The University of Canterbury will widen its collaboration with the government-owned institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR) on research project commercialisation opportunities, data-sharing and access to archives and collections, according to a memorandum of understanding signed on 8 February.
The five-year MoU ”formalises the existing collaborative relationship between the two organisations and will lead to wide-ranging collaboration”, said a university statement. The focus of joint research projects has yet to be determined.
