Tech transfer collaboration agreed with CSIRO

KiwiNet, a group of New Zealand research organisations working together on research commercialisation, has signed a memorandum of understanding on technology collaboration with CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, the University of Waikato announced on 29 February.

Under the agreement, the parties will exchange information on projects and research in areas including precision agriculture, hi-tech manufacturing and cleantech four times a year.

The collaboration will also allow partners access to each other’s specialist expertise and their respective industry and investor networks to assist technology transfer.
