Language app and data science dominate NZ funding round

Strategic Science Investment Fund provides four projects with up to $13m each

A Māori media services company that will help develop te reo digital language platforms for mobile phones is among four projects to receive funding in the latest round of science grants from the New Zealand government.

Research, science and innovation minister Megan Woods announced the grants on 23 October in Wellington.
