Otago cracks down on students who gave false reports about their oversea internships

 More than 50 final year medical students at the University of Otago will be prevented from graduating, following an inquiry that has revealed widespread misuse of overseas internships.

The university was alerted the practice by social media posts that suggested 15 medical students had given false reports about how they had spent their six-week medical intern placements in eastern Europe.
