Otago grants to support health research in Fiji and East Timor

University aims to lay the foundation for long-term collaborations

Transmission of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, improved HIV diagnosis and teen smoking habits are among five health research projects in Fiji and East Timor to be funded by the University of Otago.

The university’s global health institute has allocated $100,000 to fund the projects over two years.
