Cannabis research forges ahead as New Zealand prepares to vote on recreational use
While New Zealand debates the recreational use of cannabis ahead of a referendum on 17 October, the medicinal cannabis industry is forging ahead with developing cannabis-derived pharmaceuticals in conjunction with university researchers.
Medicinal use of cannabis became legal in New Zealand on 1 April, but as yet no locally made products have become available.
