New Zealand’s Marsden Fund backs asthma research and a study of bushfire effects on glaciers
Research into childhood asthma has been given NZ$3 million in the latest round of Marsden Fund grants, which are administered by the Royal Society on behalf of the New Zealand government.
A team led by Jeroen Douwes from Massey University’s centre for public health research will study children in New Zealand and internationally in an attempt to discover if the condition is affected by their environment.
