National fund provides NZ$40m for green energy projects

Three universities win funding for work on electric motors, renewable energy and manufacturing processes

Renewable and cleaner energy projects have attracted NZ$40 million in the latest tranche of funding from New Zealand’s Strategic Science Investment Fund.

On 16 September, three projects were announced as the first to be supported under the fund’s Advanced Energy Technology platform.
