Government looks to both local development and overseas research links for a vaccine

New Zealand’s government has set aside “hundreds of millions” more dollars to develop and secure a vaccine for Covid-19.

In an announcement on August 27, the government said it was earmarking the money for purchasing any potential vaccine.
