Researchers say “science has done its job” after publication of damning IPCC report
New Zealand-based co-authors of the latest UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report have said it is now up to government to take action to save the country from the worst climate impacts.
The authors said the report contains clear-cut proof of climate change and its causes. The Physical Sciences report, released on 9 August, consolidates thousands of scientific studies into a picture of climate change, extreme weather events and changes in landmasses, oceans and ice sheets.
