Redraft of emergency response plans recommended in new report on New Zealand’s 2020 crisis

New Zealand’s universities must review their emergency plans so they can respond effectively to issues of the same “scope and scale” as the Covid-19 pandemic, a report has found.

In the report, the Academic Quality Agency (AQA) said that despite maintaining academic quality during the pandemic by rapidly transitioning to online teaching and learning, universities had encountered several challenges.
