Review of non-traditional medicines in New Zealand finds data gaps and lack of national overview

More research is needed into alternative medicines and therapies in New Zealand, a University of Auckland study has found.

Researchers looked at 72 existing studies and discovered that they “didn’t paint a picture of nationwide use”. The study was published in the New Zealand Medical Journal on 3 September.
