Maori-led research would focus more on structural issues

Research into drug use in New Zealand is failing to properly address Māori needs and contributing to negative stereotypes, a study has found.

A paper published in the New Zealand Medical Journal on 20 October found that current research approaches focus too much on individual characteristics, and not enough on structural issues.
