First NZ winners of Horizon funding named

Researchers from three New Zealand universities gain EU support

University of Auckland, University of Waikato and Victoria University of Wellington researchers are among the first New Zealand winners of funding from the Horizon Europe research programme.

In a 17 October announcement, the University of Auckland said that researchers at its Bioengineering Institute and its Faculty of Creative Arts and Industry were in the process of finalising NZ$2.1 million worth of funding.
