Labour and Nationals both plan to review higher education system

Post-election review looks certain as main New Zealand parties point to need for reforms

Both major parties in New Zealand have said that a review of the country’s university system will begin after the national election on 14 October.

At a pre-election forum held at Victoria University of Wellington on 28 September, representatives of several parties outlined some of their plans for the whole education sector, including higher education.
