Umbrella body for Crown Research Institutes responds to government’s Future Pathways reform plan

New Zealand’s science system reforms should be broadened and should adopt a layered funding approach, a discussion paper has said.

In its paper on 27 April, Science New Zealand, the umbrella body for the country’s Crown Research Institutes, says that while it supports the Te Ara Paerangi Future Pathways reforms outlined in a white paper in December, it is concerned that they may not go far enough.
