Environment commissioner urges focus on New Zealand’s specific strengths and needs

New Zealand’s parliamentary commissioner for the environment has told a group reviewing the national science system not to “reinvent the wheel”.

In his submission to the Science System Advisory Group, Simon Upton (pictured) said that previous reviews and his own reports should be taken into account.
