Shadow brains

We know John Denham shadows Vince Cable but Research Fortnight has always been a tad confused about who Chi, Chuka and Gareth are supposed to represent in BIS. Luckily, Chi Onwurah finally provided part of the long sought-for answer at the Labour conference. “I’m half of David Willetts and half of Baroness Wilcox,” she said, conjuring up a rather odd mental image for her audience. End of confusion? Not really. As a panellist at the fringe event pointed out: just how many brains does that add up to?
