LSE academic banned after ‘flawed’ blog

Satoshi Kanazawa, from the London School of Economics and Political Science, has been banned from teaching compulsory courses and from publishing in non-peer reviewed outlets for a year following a controversy over a blog post he wrote in May. An LSE disciplinary board ruled on 14 September that Kanazawa used “flawed arguments” in a post on the Psychology Today website comparing the ‘attractiveness’ of women from different racial backgrounds.
