‘Nocebo effect’ wins Wellcome science-writing prize

Penny Sarchet, a doctoral student at Oxford University, has won the Wellcome Trust’s first science-writing prize.

Her article, “Death by hypochondria: the nocebo effect”, will be published in The Guardian or Observer newspapers.
