Royal Society calls for clear nuclear future
The UK government needs to set out its long-term ambitions for nuclear power and boost support for research infrastructure, including producing a long-term R&D roadmap, a report from the Royal Society says. It should also make it easier for academia, industry and government to share information, potentially through a Non-Proliferation and Nuclear Security Network, run by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
