Oxford and Cambridge universities have issued strongly worded criticisms of the government’s White Paper consultation on the future of the university system, according to Times Higher Education.
A response by Cambridge’s ruling council published online warns ministers that they risk harming the global reputation of Britain’s universities. The council says it is “dismayed” that the White Paper has no “overall vision and strategy” for the sector.
