PM ditches Rio+20 earth summit for Queen’s jubilee

Prime Minister David Cameron will not be attending the Rio+20 summit in Brazil next year as it clashes with the Queen's diamond jubilee, reported the BBC on 26 October.

Cameron, who has pledged to lead the “greenest government ever”, has instead passed on the responsibility to environment secretary Caroline Spelman.
