The Scottish Government invites applications for a study into the potential for deep geothermal energy in Scotland.
Geothermal energy has been identified as a particularly important emerging technology for Scotland and may play a significant role in our energy future. A study into deep geothermal is required to inform the Scottish Government and to identify the next steps that are necessary to take forward the commercialisation of this energy source. CR/2011/07.
