Study finds public support for geoengineering

A study has found that the vast majority of the public in the UK, Canada and US support research on climate geoengineering—the process of intentionally manipulating the planet’s climate to mitigate the effects of global warming.

The study, “Public understanding of solar radiation management”, was published in the Institute of Physics journal, Environmental Research Letters, on 24 October.
