TSB opens first innovation centre
The Technology Strategy Board’s first technology and innovation centre on high-value manufacturing is open. The centre, made up of seven bases in Rotherham, Teesside, Glasgow, Coventry, Warwick and Bristol, will support industries including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, food, healthcare, aerospace, automotive, energy, chemicals and electronics. The TSB will invest £140 million over six years but the TIC will also be eligible for competitive grants and industry funding.
