Work begins on nuclear research clean up

Work will soon begin on a £100 million project to clean up low-level radioactive waste at the former nuclear research site at Dounreay in Scotland.

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority will spend £100m on safely disposing of low-level radioactive waste, beginning in November and ending in 2023.
