Collaborate with Africa, says incoming RS foreign secretary

Collaboration will be the "linchpin" of Africa's future scientific success, the Royal Society's incoming foreign secretary, Martyn Poliakoff, says in an article in New Scientist.

However, he also points out that collaboration needs to be undertaken in such a way that Africa’s priorities are not overtaken by those of international donors.
