The number of technology businesses based in the Tech City area of East London has tripled in the past year.
The figure grew from 200 to 600 in the year, according to Prime Minister David Cameron, speaking at the launch of the Tech City Map, a directory of the small creative companies that have been drawn to the Old Street area, known as Silicon Roundabout.
