UK fashion designer Vivienne Westwood has donated £1 million for a project related to climate change after criticising governments for being “too slow” to fight climate change, reported the Times on 28 November.
At the international climate talks in Durban, South Africa, Westwood said she decided to make the donation after finding out that only a small part of the World Bank’s climate investments funds had been spent.
