Defra: slaughtermen and marksmen framework

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites applications to tender for a slaughtermen and marksmen framework.

Defra is seeking providers of slaughtermen, marksmen and dart gun services to be appointed to a framework. The purpose of this framework is to enable Defra to raise a call-off contract for services if and when required. Services may be required in the event of an outbreak of exotic notifiable disease or other animal disease, or in other situations such as culling on welfare grounds. The framework will be available for use by Defra and its executive agencies, the Welsh Government, the Scottish Government, local authorities and non-departmental public bodies.
