MRC strikes job-saving deal with China

Medical Research Council Technology, the commercialisation arm of the MRC, is negotiating with the Chinese government to make use of hundreds of soon-to-be out of work UK pharmaceutical researchers.

According to the Financial Times, the deal would entail the UK-based clinical research organisation, Dynasty, hiring specialists left jobless by high-profile closures of R&D sites, including Pfizer’s lab in Sandwich, Kent.
