NERC appoints interim chief executive
The Natural Environment Research Council has appointed Steven Wilson, its director of strategy and partnerships, as its interim chief executive while it seeks a replacement for departing leader Alan Thorpe. Thorpe is leaving to become director general of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts from 1 July.
