350 engineering jobs at risk in Derby

The Canada-based transport company Bombardier has announced plans to axe over 1,400 jobs at its Derby plant after losing a £1.4 billion Thameslink contract, reported the BBC on 5 July.

An article in the Guardian on 4 July specified that some 350 engineering jobs or more could be at risk.
