Board outlines SKA site-selection timeline

The founding board of the £1.3 billion, multinational Square Kilometre Array project has published the process and timeline for selecting the site for the radio telescope.

Until September, the UK-based SKA head office will collect information about shortlisted sites in South Africa and Australia. The submitted information will then be analysed by the office as well as by independent consultants and expert panels.
