Digby Jones, a former UK trade minister, will this week warn that UK firms are missing out on “millions of pounds of EU cash” for research and development, The Independent reported on 24 July.
Jones will urge the government to cut down on bureaucracy to help smaller businesses access R&D funding, the newspaper said.
