The National Institute for Health Research invites applications for its research professorships.
These aim to fund leaders in the early part of their careers to lead research, to promote effective translation of research and strengthen research leadership. Up to five posts are available to enable outstanding early career academics to spend a five year period dedicated to translational research at a professional level, and to facilitate strong research leadership and develop research capacity in areas critical to accelerating the transfer of research ideas into improved health.
