Defra: indicators of soil quality – physical properties

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs invites proposals to conduct research into physical indicators of soil quality.

Proposals should revisit physical indicators of soil quality to determine what can be done to improve their performance and identify potential soil quality indicators to add to the current proposed suite of indicators for any future national soil monitoring. The project is expected to start in October 2011 and last for 12 months.
