Manchester Met biggest loser in student places ‘auction’

Manchester Metropolitan University could lose between 500 and 550 undergraduate places as a result of the government’s reforms to higher education.

The House of Commons Library published an analysis on 23 August showing the institutions most likely to lose out under plans to take 20,000 places away from universities.
