The Joint Information Systems Committee has appointed a “shadow board” to oversee its transition towards becoming independent from the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
An HEFCE review in February this year ruled that the technology and ICT body carried out a too wide and complex array of projects and should become an independent legal entity.
