The Joseph Rowntree Foundation invites proposals for research on exploring the relationship between poverty and ethnicity in Wales.
This project aims to contribute to filling the gaps in specific, in-depth research about the relationship between poverty and ethnicity in Wales. It will examine ethnicity both in relation to general issues around poverty and some of the specific interests of this programme, including: causes and routes into poverty; routes out of poverty; experiences of poverty and aspirations for the future; the role of social networks and local labour markets in helping or hindering escape from poverty.
