Knighthoods for Manchester’s graphene scientists

Knighthoods were announced in the Queen’s New Year honours lists for the two Russian born Nobel laureates who discovered graphene at the University of Manchester.

Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov were two of the notable figures from the world of science and academic to receive honours this year.
