RSC brings scientists and politicians together in Belfast

The Royal Society of Chemistry hosted an inaugural “science in Stormont” event on 15 October, bringing together scientists and engineers with members of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

The event included a discussion on whether Northern Ireland has the potential to be the UK’s “next Silicon Valley”, as well as talks on the aerospace industry and global food security.
