UKTI pushes life sciences message

A team from UK Trade and Investment has been appointed to sell the government’s life sciences strategy abroad.

The Life Science Investment Organisation will be led by Mark Treherne, who previously worked at Pfizer, founded Cambridge Drug Discovery and most recently ran drug company Senexis. His team of UKTI staff members is charged with drumming up business abroad by encouraging companies, universities and governments to invest in life sciences research in the UK.
